This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Scent Reminiscent handles dispatch, delivery, shipping restrictions and delivery-related issues for orders placed through scentreminiscent.com.
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch orders as soon as reasonably possible after payment has been received and the order has been accepted.
Estimated dispatch times may vary depending on order volume, product type, packaging requirements, stock availability, weekends, public holidays, weather disruption, courier disruption or other circumstances outside our control.
Where products are decants, samples or hand-decanted fragrances, additional preparation time may be required because these items may be freshly prepared to order.
Any dispatch timeframe shown on the website is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Delivery Areas
Scent Reminiscent currently delivers within the United Kingdom only, unless expressly stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, amend or refund an order if we cannot lawfully, safely or practically deliver the item to the delivery address provided.
Fragrances, perfumes, aftershaves, scented liquids, oils, decants and samples may be subject to postal, courier, dangerous goods, flammable liquid, customs, import, export and aviation restrictions. These restrictions may affect which products can be shipped, where they can be shipped, how they must be packaged, and which delivery services are available.
3. Delivery Methods
Available delivery options, estimated delivery times and delivery charges will be shown at checkout where applicable.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
We may use postal services, courier services or other suitable delivery providers depending on the order, item type, value, destination and shipping restrictions.
We reserve the right to change the delivery provider or service where reasonably necessary, provided the replacement service is suitable for the order.
4. Fragrance Shipping Restrictions
Perfumes, aftershaves and other fragrance products may be treated as restricted goods by postal and courier providers.
Orders may need to be packaged, labelled and dispatched in accordance with the relevant carrier’s rules. This may include restrictions on quantity, volume, packaging, labelling, declaration, return address and permitted destinations.
Perfumes, aftershaves and fragrance products can usually be shipped within the UK when packed and sent in accordance with the relevant postal or courier rules. Because fragrance products are treated as restricted goods by carriers, we may use specific services, packaging, quantity limits or labelling requirements to comply with carrier rules.
We currently do not offer international shipping for fragrance products unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers must not ask us to misdescribe, conceal or falsely declare the contents of a parcel.
5. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges will be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.
Delivery charges may vary depending on the order value, destination, delivery method, parcel size, parcel weight, insurance requirements, tracking requirements and carrier restrictions.
If free delivery is offered, any conditions for free delivery will be shown on the website or at checkout.
6. Customer Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned parcels, additional charges, lost parcels or delivery issues caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to us because the customer provided incorrect delivery details, failed to collect the parcel, refused delivery, or was unavailable to receive the parcel, we may charge reasonable redelivery costs or deduct unrecoverable delivery costs from any refund, where permitted by law.
7. Tracking and Delivery Updates
Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided by email or through your order account.
Tracking updates are provided by the relevant postal or courier provider. We are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in third-party tracking systems.
8. Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your parcel appears delayed or missing, please contact us at Hello@ScentReminiscent.com with your order number and delivery details.
We may need to wait for the delivery provider to complete its investigation before confirming whether a parcel is lost.
Where a parcel is confirmed lost and the issue is not caused by incorrect customer information or failure to collect, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights and our delivery provider’s investigation outcome.
9. Damaged Parcels or Leaking Items
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, leaking, incorrect, faulty or materially different from the product ordered, please contact us promptly, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, at Hello@ScentReminiscent.com.
Please include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, shipping box, labels and any visible damage or leakage.
Prompt reporting helps us investigate the issue with the delivery provider and resolve the matter quickly. However, this does not affect your statutory rights.
10. Future International Orders
If international shipping is offered in the future, customers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, import VAT, brokerage charges, local handling fees and compliance with local laws.
Fragrance products may be prohibited or restricted for international shipping. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that cannot be lawfully or safely shipped internationally.
We are not responsible for products being delayed, refused, seized, destroyed or returned by customs or local authorities due to restrictions outside our control.
