About the Fragrance
Created by Françoise Caron, Michelle is a wonderfully poised meeting of green chypre structure and lush white florals. It begins cool and slightly bitter with aldehydes, leafy green notes and gardenia, softened by peach and a faint creamy coconut nuance. Then the flowers bloom properly: tuberose, iris, jasmine, rose, carnation and orchid give it richness without turning it sugary. Moss, vetiver, sandalwood, musk, benzoin and vanilla anchor everything with an elegant, earthy warmth. The contrast is what makes Michelle so compelling — creamy yet green, romantic yet composed, with the polished sophistication associated with Balenciaga at its best.
