About the Fragrance
K de Krizia is a wonderfully full-bodied example of Italian perfumery. Aldehydes, bergamot, hyacinth and neroli give the opening a cool, polished brightness before a dense floral heart of narcissus, carnation, iris, jasmine, tuberose, rose and orange blossom begins to emerge. What makes K especially distinctive is what sits underneath those florals. Oakmoss, vetiver, leather, sandalwood, styrax, ambergris, musk and civet give it a dry, mossy and faintly animalic depth that feels far more complex than a conventional powdery floral. Vintage enthusiasts often describe it as green, leathery, mossy and richly layered, with enough warmth and sensuality beneath the aldehydes to keep it from feeling austere.
