About the Fragrance
Created for Empress Eugénie, Eau de Cologne Impériale is one of Guerlain’s historic compositions and is closely associated with the Maison’s imperial bee emblem. This rare vintage example is presented in the monumental 490ml Bee Bottle, one of Guerlain’s most recognisable collector presentations.
Fragrance Character
A classical citrus eau de cologne with a bright, refined character, built around sparkling citrus notes with aromatic and delicately floral nuances over a clean, understated base.
The Bee Bottle
The substantial glass bottle is decorated with raised imperial bees and fine 24-carat gold detailing, with an ornate gilded stopper and neck ring. The front cartouche bears the personalised initials “WN”, making this an individually distinctive collector example. Its exceptional 490ml format gives the bottle remarkable display presence.
