About the Fragrance
Shalimar is one of Guerlain’s landmark fragrances, originally introduced in 1925 and composed by Jacques Guerlain. It remains one of the house’s great amber parfums, built around citrus brightness, floral softness and a warm vanilla-balsamic base. This example is presented with its purple Guerlain Marly Horse velvet case and original dot / “Coffee Beans” patterned outer box, a packaging style associated with 1960s Guerlain presentation boxes.

- New and boxed Guerlain Shalimar Parfum in 7.5ml / 1/4 oz splash format.
- Presented with purple Guerlain Marly Horse velvet case and original dot / “Coffee Beans” patterned outer box.
- Outer box is marked “N° 7.090”, “Extrait”, “Shalimar”, “Guerlain Paris France” and “1/4 oz”.
- The dot / “Coffee Beans” patterned outer box is consistent with 1960s Guerlain packaging up to the 1967 transition to later black-and-white zigzag boxes; exact production year is not confirmed from a batch code.
- Round Shalimar neck seal and cord are present, with age-related spotting and discolouration to the seal.
- Bottle appears new and unused, with golden fragrance visible through the glass.
- Purple velvet case and outer box show age-related storage wear, lint/fibre marks and light surface wear.
- No obvious leakage, chips or cracks are visible from the photographs.
